Well, there shouldn’t be much I need to tell you about this product that you can’t glean from the label there, except the initial price point. $1,500. The current retail price for my camera is below that. But, that aside, holy crap that’s an impressive card. If you take out that second mortgage and get one, please let me know how it is.

I don’t know. Having all that information in one spot makes me nervous. I shoot a 5DMII on full RAW and still use 4 gig cards. Imagine I was shooting a wedding and this card corrupted or failed on me? The WHOLE wedding, poof!, gone. Its a pain to change cards every 200 images sometimes, but I feel much better about it!
Concerns about the failure of a memory card is one of the reasons the new Canon 1D X will have two CF card slots. The camera will give you the option of writing to both cards at once (hence a backup) or writing to one card until full and then moving to the second.
Two UDMA 7 cards at $1,500 each. Can you say second mortgage?
I will probably get one of these but only because clients these days tend to read about the latest developments and want to know why you dont have the latest. Personally I dont think the difference between my 90 mbs and this is going to be technically significantly while filming on the 5d mk2, although the 128 gig is going to have any dslr whore like me licking at the lips. I will stick with my 64 gig cards for now untill the crazy price comes down.
Aliy, dont ever go on a job with only one card for this very reason. If a card does fail it is usually 95% certain you can recoup the files later but if that is the only card you have the client wont be interested in how good it was
